By installing the Whatomate Shopify App or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.
2. Service Description
Whatomate provides a platform for automated WhatsApp communications for Shopify stores. This includes order confirmations, shipment tracking notifications, and abandoned cart recovery.
3. User Responsibilities
As a merchant using Whatomate, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring your customers have consented to receive WhatsApp messages in accordance with local laws (e.g., TCPA, GDPR).
- The content of the messages sent through our platform.
- Maintaining the security of your Shopify account and WhatsApp connection.
4. WhatsApp Policy
Your use of WhatsApp via Whatomate is subject to WhatsApp's Business Policy and Terms of Service. Accounts found to be spamming or violating WhatsApp's policies may be suspended by WhatsApp or by Whatomate without notice.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Whatomate or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the service.
6. Changes to Terms
Whatomate may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this service, you are agreeing to be bound by the then-current version of these terms.
